Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana 2025: Journalists to Receive Rs 15,000 Monthly

There are so many announcements about the scheme that provides social security to the citizens of the state has been made by the Bihar State Government. Now, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, through his social media platform, made a new announcement about the journalist Samman Pension Scheme.

This scheme is also known as Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana. In his social media post, he said that now every journalist of the Bihar state will receive the Pension amount of Rs 15,000/-. Before this announcement under the Bihar Journalist Samman Pension Scheme, every eligible applicant will receive Rs. 6,000/-, which is now enhanced, and they will get an amount of Rs 15,000/-.

This is really good news for all the journalists of the Bihar state, they will now every month they are going to receive a Pension of Rs 15,000/- instead of Rs 6,000/-. So to make this announcement implemented in the state, the chief minister also gives strict guidelines to the Information and Public Relations Department of the state. Apart from it, if by chance any of the journalist died due to any reason, then their spouse will receive the pension of Rs 3,000/-, but now the same amount will also be enhanced by Rs 10,000/-.

पत्रकार सम्मान पेंशन योजना

अगर किसी पत्रकार की मृत्यु हो जाती है तो पहले उसके जीवनसाथी को 3 हजार रूपये की पेंशन दी जाती थी, लेकिन अब यह राशि बढ़ाकर 10 हजार रूपये कर दी गयी है. जिसके लिए सम्बन्धित विभाग को भी निर्देश जारी कर दिए गयी है. यह नई घोषणाएं सब चुनावों से पहले लोगो को अपनी तरफ आकर्षित करने के लिए की जा रही है.

The main changes that are now made through the new announcement by the Chief Minister through his social media platform are that they enhanced the monthly pension amount and also the amount that is given to their spouse after their death. Eligibility Criteria

Only the retired journalists of the state are eligible for this scheme, and you also have to qualify for the following criteria to apply for the pension.

• Applicant is a permanent resident of Bihar State.
• Journalist must have 20 years of experience in journalism and also be retired from the work.
• To avail the benefits from this pension scheme, the age of the applicant must be 60 years or above.
• You are also affiliated and registered with the Information and Public Relations department. You have the same certificate, which is issued by this government Department.
• If you are already receiving any other pension, then you are not eligible for the scheme.
• After the death of the pensioner, half of his pension will be given to his wife.

Documents Required

All the eligible journalists must have the following documents with them. If you don’t have it prepared before applying.

• Bihar Residential proof.
• Income certificate of the applicant.
• Copy of Aadhaar Card.
• Voter ID Card.
• Bank account details contained the information like Savings account Number, Branch Name and IFSC Code.
