In a recent announcement by the Water Minister of Delhi, Parvesh Sahib Singh, they are going to waive 100% late payment surcharge on water bills. This scheme is specially for domestic and government consumers. After the official announcement, this scheme will be active till the 31st of March 2026. Consumers who pay their pending water bill by the 31st of January, their LPSC will be 100% waived off. Delhi government also reduced the charge per billing cycle from 5% to 2%.
