The Jharkhand government and the Chief Minister launched this scheme for the 50 lakh women of Jharkhand. This scheme is also an extension of Maiya Samman Yojana, which is already working very good in Jharkhand. In the Maiya Samman, eligible women get Rs 2500 per month.

Maiya Balwan Yojana

The main purpose of launching the Mukhyamantri Maiya Balwan Yojana is to give economic empowerment to the beneficiaries of the Maiya Samman Yojana. Under the scheme, women who want to do any business and become self-dependent will be them to do this very easily. Women entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and generate self-employment can get help from them with a loan facility. Self-help groups for women are also eligible for the scheme.

• Beneficiaries of the Maiya Samman Yojana can visit their nearest Gram Panchayat office.
• They can register themselves under the self-help groups.
• Necessary documents are required, and they will be submitted with the application form.
• Higher authorities will check your application form, and if they find everything correct, then your application will proceed.
• You have to submit an application form with important documents like your Aadhaar card, bank details and permanent residence proof, etc.
• Eligible applicants can visit the official website mmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in for the online application.
• After the official launch government will organise camps for women registration.
