The Education Department of Meghalaya State announced a new scholarship scheme with the name of “Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme 2025″. In this scheme, every eligible student will going to receive an annual stipend of Rs 6,000.
This is the fixed annual scholarship amount. In this scheme, students who are permanently living in Meghalaya State and are students of Class 11th to PHD level of any of the government and recognised educational institutions are eligible for the scheme. By launching this scheme, the state government wants to reduce the financial burden on the families of the students and wants to encourage the students to the higher education.
